HOPE HELPS

Our Mission

We invest in Native American People with disabilities, providing quality and culturally appropriate Vocation Rehabilitation Services consistent with their individual strengths, resources, priorities, concerns, abilities, capabilities, interests and informed choices. So that they may prepare for and engage in gainful employment, vocational training, and/or self-employment.

Vocational rehabilitation on the Warm Springs Reservation encompasses Body, Mind, Heart, and Spirit, working with the whole person in their cycle of life to help him or her take first steps on the journey toward self-sufficiency. Like the medicine wheel, Tribal VR touches all that a person is, reaching beyond the individual to impact families and revitalize the community.

Cultural and traditional resources is a service that is only offered by the Tribal programs.

Program Goals

To improve employment outcomes of American Indians with disabilities who live on or near reservations by providing effective tribal vocational rehabilitation and achieve employment outcomes consistent with their particular strengths, resources, abilities, capabilities and interests.
